This species of the genus Hilara is flying over water with its legs touching the water surface.

In this animation (10X retarded) Hilara is crossing an air bubble. The collapsing air bubble is generating ring waves. The velocity of the inner ring is approximately 23 cm/s. The velocity of Hilara is two times faster.
