**Andrena movement along a straight line**

Sometimes the male is moving along a straight line, without rotation and sideways movement. An example is given here. The male is walking at first and rotating in the direction of the female. After take-off the velocity is increasing until the male collides with the female.

Modelling this movement will begin with the geometry.

The model is essentially a filter of the desired speed sp.

The desired speed sp is filtered by a first order filter, modelling the neural delay. The filtered speed sp_{filt} is filtered again by the filter modelling the mechanics. The result is the velocity v_{M}. The velocity is integrated to obtain the position. The result for the velocity of the example is given in the figure below.
